In the city of Savannah, there are many little parks, and some not soo little, all over the place. I find it one of the best qualities of the cities. It was beautiful. Forsyth Park is probably the most famous of this little parks. At the north end of Forsyth Park, stands Forsyth Fountain. It is an impressive fountain with many mer-men and geese all placed all over the fountain, water spraying everywhere. People watching was a popular activity in this area and I had to wait forever to get a fairly clean shot without 100 people in it.
The fountain in Forsyth Park was built in 1858. It is modeled after the fountain at Place de la Concorde in France. Or at least it seems that way.
